While in Spain I was approached by Dreamtek, a long-term exhibitor at MacExpo and other XPO events, to organise a photographic and video show for them at the BDC. We called it DPI (dots per inch) and exploited Dreamtek’s ongoing relationship with many of those in the photographic and video sector.
Working closely with the two principals revealed a desire for them to set up a subsidiary in Dubai, and by then Richard Hease, my son Matt and Mark Elliott were all working and living there. I helped to get the operation gain the necessary permissions and got involved in some of the early client meetings and arranged for offices. However, another more direct involvement in Dubai rather overwhelmed this commitment – Future Museums.
