GGF12 – Jefferie Allen was born in 1533 at St Columb Major, Cornwall, he was the son of GGF13 – John Allen I, this earlier John is often stated as born in 1520, but this must be wrong as Jefferie would have been born when he was only 13.

Jefferie married Johane Tregonye (1537-1597) in 1557 and they had six children:
