DISPLACED: OLIVE
is a modern retelling of Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, now approaching two hundred years old. The tale is still relevant today in that social care still fails many of its recipients. But Dickens excellent characterisations, the Victorian setting and use of language have become something of a barrier to many modern readers.

DENOUNCED: A TALE OF TWO COURTS
is a modern retelling of A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. The two city settings here are London and Tehran. The death by guillotine becomes a public hanging by mobile crane.
