Other civilizations were established around the world as early as 1000 BCE:
- in Malta (with significant temples and subterranean structures)
- in Vietnam (with SE Asia’s earliest latrine at Rạch Núi)
- we should not neglect to mention the south American ancient civilizations that also emerged in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Mesoamerica
